apl245973
Vimar Supernova S17 Adapter with P17/11 Outlet, 250V, 16A, 1500W

Overview

The Vimar Supernova Series is a portable Italian adaptor that pairs a 2P+E 16 A S17 plug with a P17/11 outlet for 250 V~ AC use. It is meant for situations where the available connection and the plug on the equipment side follow different Italian 16 A formats and need a direct adaptor between them.

For onboard AC use, the main checks are plug standard and load. This adaptor is rated for 16 A with a maximum load of 1500 W, so it suits many everyday portable connections on boats and in dockside living spaces where Italian standard fittings are already in place.

Key features

Italian S17 plug to P17/11 outlet adaptor in a 2P+E 16 A format

Rated for 250 V~ AC service with a maximum connected load of 1500 W

Single-outlet portable adaptor format for temporary or movable power connections

Available in black or white housing finishes

Useful when the source side and the equipment side use different Italian 16 A connection patterns

Variants

This adaptor is offered in two color configurations.

The electrical format stays the same across both versions: 250 V~ rating, 16 A 2P+E layout, Italian S17 plug, and P17/11 outlet. The visible difference between variants is the housing color.

VM00300.B: Color White. The lighter finish is easier to spot in cabins, lockers, and utility spaces with pale panels or trim.

VM00300: Color Black. The darker finish sits more discreetly against black panels, darker joinery, or service areas with low-contrast hardware.

Compatibility and fit

This adaptor is for AC systems that use Italian 16 A standards. Before ordering, check both sides of the connection carefully: the source side must match an S17 plug format, and the receiving side must be a P17/11 outlet arrangement in a 2P+E layout.

It is a good match for boats, shore-side service spaces, and portable AC setups where Italian plug standards are already part of the installation. Buyers comparing it with 12V or 24V marine fittings should note that this is a 250 V~ mains adaptor, not a low-voltage DC connector.

Installation and setup

As a portable adaptor, it is straightforward to use. Connect it only to matching Italian standard fittings and keep the total connected load within 1500 W. On board, it fits best anywhere a quick AC adaptor is needed for portable equipment without changing the rest of the outlet layout.
