MERC - 18-0897 exhaust elbow's purpose is to mix the cooling water released from the engine heat exchanger with the exhaust gases from the engine to cool them. It ensures that all exhaust gas will pass through the particulate filter for processing and stops exhaust from leaking out of the connection. It is a vital component of your watercraft; it operates more like a leaf blower without the gasket, blasting at a general area in the hopes that most of the debris will blow away.

Key Features:

Fits: 1981–1997 GM V–6 and V–8 engines with center rise output exhaust manifolds standard cooling.

Mercruiser Stern Drive 27-41813, 27-860233, 27-863724, Mallory 9-61413, Barr MC47-27-41813, MC 20 99208, GLM 30240, and Osco 8503-GR are interchangeable.

The performance and power of your engine will increase thanks to this perfect sealing protection.

Specifications:

Brand: Sea Star Solutions

UPC: 030999751720

Weight: 0.07 LBS

Unit Of Measure: EA

Alternate Products SKU: "863724", "27-00524", "18-0897"

Manufacturer Part Number (MPN): 118-0897

This product replaces the following: 47-0897, GLM30240, 14-17510, 27-41813, AP524, 30999751720, 3099975172, 92-30240D, 9-61413

Standard cooling, restrictor gasket, Fits: 1981-1997 GM V-6 & V-8 Engines with center rise outlet exhaust manifold

This product replaces:

47-0897, GLM30240, 14-17510, 27-41813, AP524, 30999751720, 3099975172, 92-30240D, 9-61413
