apl328957
Sea Star Solutions Fuel Filter - Mercury - Sierra Marine Engine Parts - 18-7979 (118-7979)

Before your boat's engines, fuel filters remove water and other pollutants from the gasoline. That's also significant because dirty fuel can clog or harm the fuel injectors or the fuel injection pumps, which have very narrow orifices. During planned maintenance and oil changes, fuel filters should be replaced and must be done every 200-300 hours of running time or on a calendar basis, such as semi-annually or quarterly. Contaminants are likely slipping into your fuel system and engines if you notice your fuel or fuel filter element becoming less clean and turning a muddy hue. If your gauge needle is in the yellow or red zones, try replacing the fuel filter. FUEL FILTER (18-7979) from Sea Star Solutions offers durability that takes and exceeds the maintenance schedule.

Key Features:

This product also replaces 68V-24563-00-00, 68V-24563-00, 881540-V, 47-7979, 808282201043, 35-802884Q, 9-37961

Fits Mercury/Mariner 75/90/115 horsepower FourStroke carbureted outboards well, Yamaha Outboards 50 - 115 HP (2000 - 2019) 4 Strokes and 4 Cylinders

With 27 Micron Rating

Specifications:

BRAND: Sea Star Solutions

SKU: 18-7979

UPC: 808282201043

WEIGHT: 0.03 LBS

Micron Rating: 20 microns, Fits: Mercury/Mariner 75/90/115 hp FourStroke carbureted outboards

This product replaces:

68V-24563-00-00, 68V-24563-00, 881540-V, 47-7979, 808282201043, 35-802884Q, 9-37961
