The transparent housing lets you check the screen at a glance, and the stainless steel screen can be cleaned in place when the intake line picks up sediment or grit.

On a boat, that usually means less time chasing low flow, erratic cycling, or valve trouble caused by particles moving through the water system. It works best where you can see and reach it easily, so routine checks stay quick in lockers, under-sink spaces, or utility compartments.

Key features

3/4 in hose connections fit common 19 mm water-system hose runs.

In-line strainer layout helps stop debris before it reaches pump valves and diaphragms.

Transparent housing makes inspection quick during routine service or troubleshooting.

Stainless steel screen can be cleaned without pulling the whole assembly out of the plumbing run.

Useful as a visible service point ahead of the pump in onboard water systems where tank sediment or line debris can reach the suction side.

Installation and fit

Install it on the inlet side of the pump in a spot that leaves enough room to open the housing and rinse the screen. That placement keeps maintenance simple and helps catch debris before it can reach the pump.

This strainer is a good match for boats already plumbed with 3/4 in hose and using an all-electric diaphragm pump for onboard water service. It suits owners who want a serviceable pre-filter they can inspect quickly instead of waiting for a drop in flow to signal a blockage.
