Overview

The Hella Marine All Round White Light/Anchor Navigation Lamp is an incandescent all-round white navigation light for 12V systems, rated for 2 nautical miles with an IP55 housing.

It is used as an anchor light or an all-round white position light when installed in the correct location for your vessel. The non-magnetic housing helps avoid unwanted influence around compasses and sensitive instruments, and the bayonet lock on the housing makes bulb changes straightforward during routine service.

With IP55 protection, it suits exposed mounting where the light will see spray and normal deck washdowns. It is not intended for submerged locations or areas that stay underwater.

Variants

This light is offered in two housing colors.

Across the range, the function and rating remain the same; the housing color is what changes between versions.

• 002984505: Product color Black. A good fit where you want the light to blend into dark rails, hardtops, or mast bases.
• 002984565: Product color White. Suits white gelcoat and light-colored mounting areas where you want a cleaner visual match.

Installation and setup

Plan the mounting location so the lens has a clear all-round view and is not blocked by antennas, biminis, backstays, or deck gear. Make sure the light is oriented and positioned correctly for its intended role as an anchor light or an all-round white position light.

Wire it into a 12V navigation lighting circuit using marine-grade practices for connections and sealing. On refits, confirm the supply voltage matches the lamp before reconnecting.

Use on board

This light suits boats that need a traditional incandescent anchor or all-round white light, especially when you want serviceable bulb access and a housing that stays non-magnetic around onboard instruments. It also makes sense on vessels where the rest of the navigation lighting is incandescent and you want to keep the look and maintenance approach consistent.

Maintenance and care

Rinse salt and grime off the lens so visibility is not reduced over time. When servicing the bulb, keep the sealing surfaces clean and dry before closing the housing back up.
