Overview
The Victron Energy Mains Cord for Smart IP43 Charger is a 2 m AC input cord range for connecting compatible Victron chargers to mains power on board, at the dock, or in a marine workshop.
This cord family is made for Victron Smart IP43 chargers and Skylla-S chargers, with regional plug versions available for common AC outlet standards. It is useful when replacing a missing lead, matching a charger to a vessel’s shore-power region, or keeping a spare cord aboard for service work.
Because the cord is supplied in plug-specific versions, the main buying decision is the outlet type: European CEE 7/7, UK, AU/NZ, North American NEMA 5-15P, or North American NEMA 6-15P. The 2 m length gives enough reach for many charger installations without leaving excessive cable around the charger area.
Key features
- 2 m AC mains cord range for Victron Smart IP43 and Skylla-S chargers.
- Regional plug options cover CEE 7/7, UK, AU/NZ, NEMA 5-15P, and NEMA 6-15P outlet types.
- Useful as a replacement lead or spare cord for chargers used on boats, in marina service areas, and in workshop charging setups.
- Helps avoid improvised adapters when the charger needs to be matched to a specific local mains outlet.
- Compact accessory that is easy to stow with charging gear or onboard electrical spares.
Variants
This mains cord is offered in several plug configurations so the same charger family can be used with different regional AC outlet standards.
The variants differ by wall plug type and stated charger compatibility. The listed versions are 2 m mains cords for Victron Smart IP43 chargers, with Skylla-S charger compatibility also shown for the NEMA 5-15P version and confirmed across the Smart IP43 and Skylla-S mains cord range.
- ADA010100100: Plug Type CEE 7/7, Compatibility Smart IP43 Charger. This version suits European Schuko-style mains outlets commonly found in marina and workshop environments.
- ADA010100200: Plug Type UK, Compatibility Smart IP43 Charger. This version suits UK mains outlets where a local plug format is needed for the charger’s AC input.
- ADA010100300: Plug Type AU/NZ, Compatibility Smart IP43. This version suits Australia and New Zealand outlet formats for boats or charging areas wired to that regional standard.
- ADA010100400: Plug Type NEMA 5-15P, Compatibility Smart IP43 and Skylla-S Charger. This version is for standard North American 120 V style receptacles using the NEMA 5-15P plug format.

Compatibility and fit
This product is for the AC input side of compatible Victron chargers, not for DC battery output wiring, NMEA networking, VE.Direct, or sensor connections. Check the charger model and the available mains outlet before ordering, especially on vessels that move between regions or use a mix of shore-power and workshop connections.
For a boat installation, the cord should be routed so it is not pinched behind the charger, strained at the plug, or left where bilge water, foot traffic, or engine-room heat can damage it. It is a practical match for owners and installers who already use Victron charging equipment and need the correct regional mains lead rather than a generic adapter chain.
Installation and use on board
Connect the charger only to a suitable AC supply for the charger and plug version being used. Keep the cord supported and dry where possible, and avoid running it across sharp edges, hot surfaces, or loose gear in lockers and technical spaces.
On cruising boats and service vessels, keeping the correct regional cord with the charger makes dockside battery charging simpler and reduces setup time when power is available. For refits, spares kits, or charger replacements, it is a small accessory that can prevent delays caused by a missing or mismatched mains lead.
