Overview
The Garmin LiveScope Bulkhead Connector Kit is a flush-mount pass-through that lets you run a LiveScope transducer extension cable through a bulkhead and create a clean plug-in point for the transducer on the other side. It is meant for installations where you want the LiveScope transducer to connect and disconnect at the panel instead of reaching into a console or rigging tube.
Installation uses a 37 mm (1 1/2 in.) hole saw and needs at least 60 mm of clearance behind the mounting surface. The connector is held in place with a gasket and mounting hardware, and a tethered weather cap covers the connection when the transducer is unplugged.
Key features
- Flush-mount bulkhead connector holder for a LiveScope transducer extension cable, creating a convenient connect and disconnect point at the panel
- Cutout size uses a 37 mm (1 1/2 in.) hole saw for the cable pass-through
- Mounting can be secured with a rear mounting nut when you can access the backside, or with mounting screws when you cannot
- Self-adhesive gasket supports a cleaner seal at the bulkhead; marine sealant can be applied around the holder if you want additional water ingress protection
- Weather cap with tether and retaining ring helps protect the connector when the transducer is disconnected
- Compatible with LiveScope Plus LVS34, LiveScope Plus System, LiveScope System, LiveScope XR LVS62, and LiveScope XR System
Variants
This product is offered in multiple configurations based on whether a LiveScope transducer extension cable is included.
The bulkhead connector kit function stays the same across the range, while the extension cable length changes by configuration when a cable is included.
- 010-13350-00: Extension cable not included. This option fits installs where the correct extension cable length is already on hand.
- BUNDL-LSBCK-3AC: Includes a 3 ft extension cable. A shorter run works when the sonar module is close to the bulkhead location.
- BUNDL-LSBCK-10AC: Includes a 10 ft extension cable. This length suits many console and compartment layouts where the cable route has a few bends and service loops.
- BUNDL-LSBCK-30AC: Includes a 30 ft extension cable. A longer run helps when the sonar module is mounted forward and the bulkhead point is farther aft or down a rigging path.
Installation and setup
Pick a mounting spot that is easy to reach when you need to plug or unplug the transducer and that the extension cable can reach from the sonar module. Confirm there is at least 60 mm of clearance behind the surface for the hardware and cable bend radius.
Drill the pass-through hole with a 37 mm (1 1/2 in.) hole saw, route the extension cable to the location, and clamp the extension cable connector inside the two-piece holder. Apply the self-adhesive gasket, then secure the assembly using the mounting nut if the backside is accessible, or use the mounting screws when it is not. Snap the finish plate on and fit the weather cap so the connector can be covered when not in use.
Compatibility and fit
This kit is for LiveScope setups that use a transducer extension cable between the sonar module and the transducer connection point at the bulkhead. It is not a power or network connector and does not replace correct cable routing, strain relief, or drip loops. Before cutting the hole, verify the planned cable path and service access so the connector can be reached and capped after each use.
Use on board
This is a good match for anglers who remove a LiveScope transducer for trailering, storage, or shallow-water runs and want the disconnect point at the console face, aft compartment, or a rigging plate. It also helps keep the connection tidy when the transducer is mounted on a trolling motor or on a pole that is frequently stowed.
Maintenance and care
Keep the weather cap closed whenever the transducer is unplugged, and rinse the area after saltwater spray. Periodically check the mounting hardware for tightness and confirm the cable has strain relief so vibration does not work the connector loose over time.
