Overview
The Lopolight 201-013-PRO is a 2 NM yellow towing navigation light with a 135-degree sector and a housing in hard coat anodized aluminum with a black finish. It runs on 10-32 VDC for 12V and 24V DC systems, and it carries an IP68 rating for mounting positions that see spray, rain, and regular washdowns.
The light mounts horizontally on a POM base with the cable exiting to the side, which helps when you are feeding wiring through a transom or a stern structure. Power connects via a plug connector, so it is worth confirming you have the correct mating connector or harness in your wiring run before final installation.
Overall size is 92.5 mm diameter by 74.5 mm tall (3.6 in x 2.9 in), and weight is 1.04 kg (36.68 oz). It is specified for operation from -25 C to 55 C, and it is approved to COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, and LR.

Compatibility and fit
This is a towing light for vessels specified up to 50 m (164 ft). Plan the mounting position so the 135-degree arc is not blocked by davits, rails, trim tabs, antennas, or any stern gear that can cast a shadow across the sector.
With a 92.5 mm diameter body and a 74.5 mm overall height, it fits many stern faces and light brackets where space is limited but you still want a full-size navigation light footprint.
Installation and setup
Mount the light horizontally and square to the vessel centerline so the towing sector lines up correctly. Use the included M6 fasteners where the mounting surface and backing allow it, and seal penetrations appropriately for your transom or stern structure.
The side cable exit can make routing easier in tight stern compartments. Leave enough service loop to access the plug connection without having to remove the light from the mounting surface.
Electrical and system integration
Supply power within the 10-32 VDC range. Current draw is 124 mA at 12VDC or 71 mA at 24VDC, which helps keep the load modest on navigation light circuits.
Minimum feed wire size is 0.5 mm2 (22 AWG). If you are extending the run, choose conductor size based on distance and voltage drop, and keep connections dry and strain-relieved in a location you can inspect later.
Use on board
This light is a good match for towboats, tugs, and workboats that need a dedicated yellow towing light while keeping power draw low on 12V or 24V systems. It also works well for refits where you are replacing older incandescent towing lights and want a sealed fixture rated IP68.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the light after saltwater use, especially around the mounting base and cable entry points. Check the lens for buildup that can reduce visibility, and re-torque fasteners during routine inspections so vibration does not loosen the installation over time.
