Overview

The Hella Marine 2NM NaviLED Deck Mount Port and Starboard Pair is a compact LED port and starboard navigation light set with 2 nautical mile visibility for vessels up to 50 m.

It runs on Multivolt 12 V and 24 V systems across 9 to 32 V DC, draws less than 2 W combined, and the lamps are sealed to IP67. Each lamp is pre-wired with 500 mm of tinned twin-core marine cable, so you can route to your sidelights circuit without splicing right at the fixture.

This is a practical upgrade for boats where you want low current draw at night and a light that stays sealed through spray, washdowns, and vibration. It suits coastal cruising, offshore runs, and fishing boats that spend time underway after dark.

• 980620801: Black housing with coloured lens. The coloured lens changes the daytime look of the fixture compared with the clear-lens versions.

Installation and setup

These are deck-mount sidelights, so placement and alignment matter. Mount them on a solid, flat surface with the correct fore and aft orientation and a clear line of sight, then route the pre-wired tinned cable to your navigation light switch or breaker circuit using marine-grade connectors and proper strain relief. Seal any deck penetrations to keep water out of the core and wiring runs.

There are no bulbs to replace. Keep the lens clean so the sectors stay crisp, and periodically check the wiring terminations and cable support points, especially if the boat sees frequent spray or heavy slamming in a chop.
