Overview

The Vimar VM20626 is a 1-module mounting frame with fixing screws for panel mounting in the Eikon modular system. It supports one module and can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical orientation, which helps when you are laying out switches and outlets on a helm console, cabin bulkhead, or an electrical accessory panel.

This is a flush-mounted holder style frame made from thermoplastic, and it mounts from the front side. Because it does not include a built-in installation box, plan for a proper panel cut-out and enough clearance behind the panel for wiring and the device you are installing.

Position the frame in the panel opening, fasten it with the supplied screws, then mount the chosen module from the front side per the device’s instructions before fitting the cover plate. On a boat, it helps to mount it on a rigid surface that will not flex with vibration, and to keep the installation in a protected location unless the module and cover plate you are using are suited to spray and washdowns.
