Overview
The Raymarine E70535-00-NAG is a 12-inch Element 12 S multifunction navigation display with Navionics+ USA and Canada cartography and no transducer included. It gives cruisers, anglers, and sailboat owners a large non-touch navigation screen with keypad control, a 1280 x 800 WXGA display, 1,500-nit brightness, and built-in 10 Hz GPS/GNSS for fast position updates underway.
This display runs Raymarine LightHouse Sport and supports chart plotting, waypoint management, routes, tracks, AIS target overlays, sailing instrument pages, autopilot integration, and compatible sonar functions. It operates on 12 V DC systems with an 8 V to 16 V DC operating range and draws up to 25 W at 12 V DC, making it a practical fit for many center consoles, pilothouses, sailboat helms, and small cruising boats.
The Element 12 S is built for exposed helm use, with IPX6 and IPX7 water ingress protection and an operating temperature range from -25 degrees C to +55 degrees C. Surface mount dimensions are approximately 357 x 215 x 62 mm, so helm space, viewing angle, cable routing, and suncover clearance should be checked before installation.
Key features
- 12-inch sunlight-viewable display with 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution and 1,500-nit brightness for readable chart and navigation data at an open helm.
- Non-touch keypad interface helps reduce accidental inputs when the boat is moving, the screen is wet, or gloves are being used.
- Built-in GPS/GNSS receiver with 10 Hz position updates for responsive navigation while cruising, fishing, or sailing.
- Includes Navionics+ USA and Canada chart coverage for coastal and inland navigation planning in the included region.
- Single-channel High CHIRP sonar support works with compatible CPT-S transducers, with the transducer purchased separately.
- NMEA 2000 connectivity through the included power and NMEA 2000 cable for integration with compatible AIS, autopilot, engine, tank, instrument, and VHF data.
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support for compatible wireless functions within the Element S system.
- IPX6 and IPX7 water protection suits exposed dashboards, hardtops, and other helm locations that see spray, rain, and washdowns.
- Stores up to 5,000 waypoints, 200 waypoint groups, 50 routes, and 15 tracks for regular cruising grounds, fishing marks, and passage planning.
- One microSDXC card slot supports chart cards and data handling for navigation use.

Installation and fit
This unit can be mounted at a main helm, flybridge, pilothouse, cockpit pod, or electronics flat where a larger navigation display is wanted without moving to a touchscreen interface. The keypad layout makes sense on boats that run in chop, rain, or spray because the main controls remain physical and easy to reach.
For a clean installation, plan the mounting location around the 12-inch screen size, bracket or surface mount hardware, power lead length, NMEA 2000 lead length, and rear clearance for cables. The included suncover is useful when the boat is stored at the dock or on a trailer, especially for installations that stay exposed to UV and salt air.
Electrical and system integration
The display is intended for 12 V DC electrical systems and uses a 5 A inline fuse or 3 A thermal breaker protection arrangement. It should be wired into a properly protected marine power circuit with attention to voltage drop, grounding, and cable routing away from high-interference equipment.
The NMEA 2000 connection lets the display share data with compatible onboard systems. For SeaTalkng networks, a suitable DeviceNet to SeaTalkng adapter cable is required. Optional compatible equipment can add functions such as AIS overlays, autopilot interaction, sailing data pages, engine and tank data, and Quantum wireless radar display capability.
Use on board
The Element 12 S is a strong match for boaters who want a large chartplotter screen, physical controls, built-in GPS, and room for networked navigation data without buying a transducer in the box. It suits coastal cruising, fishing, and sailboat navigation where chart visibility, simple operation, and NMEA 2000 integration matter more than touchscreen control.
Because this package is supplied without a transducer, it also works well for refits where the owner wants to select the correct CPT-S transducer style separately, such as transom, through-hull, or in-hull, based on hull type and installation access.
