FingerFlex Blinker-Style Trim Switches can fit on either the right or left side of the bezel or both sides for dual control. In addition to tilt and trim systems, it may utilize in operating hydraulic jack plates. There are various versions to accommodate most mechanical steering systems.

The trim is adjusted using a toggle switch on the control lever or the dash. The trim system employs hydraulic rams to adjust the angle of the outboard motor or sterndrive gearcase. Hence, the aspect of the propeller shaft is relative to the boat transom throughout a 20-degree range. The trim is neutral or zeroes when the boat is on a plane, and the prop shaft is parallel to the water surface.
