Description  

PRIMER SOLENOID (437232) by BRP. The solenoid is a steel rod with an electromagnet in the center. A voltage in the priming solenoid when applied to the electromagnet, the steel rod opens the valve, allowing pressurized gasoline to pass through and be pumped straight into the intake manifold, thereby bypassing the carburetor. The primer solenoid is only a valve; pressure is supplied by either the primer bulb or the fuel pump. It is dependent on the movement of pistons. Choke plates controlled by solenoids constricted the carburetor throat, preventing air passage and forcing the pistons to suck more fuel into the intake. It improves the fuel/air mix. This product replaces BRP433374, BRP437232, 745419060237, 433374, and 437232.
