Brp Prop Nut Spacer (5034638)
Like the thrust washer, the prop nut spacer helps align the prop to the shaft when the inner hub loses its form, this time at the aft end of the propeller. With its vast surface area, the spacer bears reverse thrust loads and prevents the inner hub from sliding aft. However, unlike a thrust washer, it is dependent on the final washer and nut to keep it from moving on the shaft. With its huge surface area, it sustains reverse thrust loads and prevents the inner hub from sliding aft. The spacer cannot go aft because of the final washer and nut.
