5" P600 GRIT HOOKIT FINISHING (7000120388) is a film backing for added conformability, and a specially designed coating extends the life of the aluminum oxide mineral. These discs are perfect for removing orange peel, dust nibs, and paint runs from all types of automotive paint, gel coat, and glow finish. Scuffing blend areas before painting and eliminating flaws before paint finishing is done with this item. Scuffing pads are slower and more hard to use than the new discs. The discs produce fewer pigtails in any application and reduce deep scratches, comebacks, and rework in collision repair processes, saving time and money.
