The Ignition Module is for Crus/Evinrude, Johnson, and Gale outboard motors. Found on Mercury, OMC, Volvo Penta, and GM 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, and 8-cylinder engines with Delco HEI Ignition. It is an integral part of the vehicle ignition system. Provide switching of the ignition coil at the correct point in time to ignite the petrol/air mixture compressed by the piston. Always clean and free from corrosion, the plug connector to the ignition module and ignition coils that cause malfunctions or even cable fires.
