Cdi Electronics Electronics Shift Assist (123-9800)

An electronic shift assist module, an interrupter switch, an over stroke switch, and all necessary wiring and connectors are standard on most marine engines. The ESA module (short for electronic shift assist) is a computer-controlled device that lowers engine RPMs and reduces the load on the outdrive gears. These are generally mounted aft of the intake manifold and the interrupter. The over-stroke switch is mounted side by side on the engine bracket. It minimizes shifting effort and permits smoother operation when moving from forward to reverse. This product replaces Part Numbers 123-9898-P, 982755, 982749, 985902, 987738, 987740, 987739, 986342, 982774, 984036, 984276, 974730, and 984281.
