Overview

The Hella Marine 358114281 is a compact 4-gang switch panel for controlling four 12V DC circuits from one spot at the helm. It is rated for a 20A maximum load and keeps wiring tidy on smaller consoles where space behind the dash is limited.

The toggles are protected with neoprene rubber boots for splash exposure, and each circuit is fused with in-line spade type fuses located behind the panel. The gray housing is made from impact resistant, UV stabilized plastic, and the panel measures 95 x 107 x 55 mm (H x W x D).

Installation and setup

Mount the panel to a flat surface on the dash, console, or cabin bulkhead using the supplied gasket and fasteners. Leave enough clearance behind the mounting surface for wiring bends and for accessing the in-line fuse holders.

Route wiring so it is supported and protected from chafe, and finish connections with marine-grade crimp terminals and heat shrink. Label each switch so anyone on board can tell what is being powered at a glance.

Electrical and system integration

This panel is intended for 12V DC circuits. Feed the panel from a properly protected 12V supply, then run each switched output to the accessory being controlled. Keep grounds and returns organized on a bus bar, and match wire gauge to the load and run length for the circuit.
