Emp Fuel Pump & Filter Electric (1399-39556)

The Fuel Pump and Filter Electric functions trap dirt, rust, scale, and other impurities from entering the fuel pump, fuel injectors, and engine without affecting fuel pressure. It has a separator installed on the intake side. This separator protects from impurities, but if blocked by excessive dirt in the fuel, there is a risk of dry running. There is excessive operating noise and warning of the pump followed by loss of power and engine. This can lead to damage to the pump system. That's why it is placed on the thrust side, in the direction behind the fuel pump.
