Emp Spring_Recoil Starter (93-06504)
The Spring Recoil Starter is a plate having first spring support having a first outer surface with a first outer diameter. Then the second spring support has a second outer surface with a second outer diameter and a spring member coupled between the drive member and the pulley member. The first and second spring support cooperation provide radially-inner support for the spring member. As the rope's grip is pulled, the rope uncoils. With that, it tensions the spring, then engages the clutch and turns the crankshaft. Before it ends the pull stroke, start the engine. To fix this, work from outside the housing, align the tab on the spring with the notch and the housing, and back into the housing.
