Overview
The Raymarine A80536 is a silicone suncover for the Axiom Pro 16 multifunction display, made to cover the front of the unit when the helm is not in use. It is a direct-fit accessory for the 16-inch Axiom Pro display size, giving the screen area a simple layer of day-to-day protection at the console.
This cover is useful for exposed helm stations, flybridges, center consoles, and cockpit installations where electronics sit in sunlight, salt air, spray, and dust between trips. The silicone construction gives it a softer fit than a rigid cover, which helps when removing or reinstalling it around the display during regular use.
Key features
- Fits Raymarine Axiom Pro 16 multifunction displays.
- Silicone cover helps protect the display face when the boat is docked, stored, or between runs.
- Useful for fixed-mount helm installations exposed to sun, spray, dust, and general cockpit debris.
- Simple slip-on style makes it easy to remove before powering up the display and reinstall after use.
- Good replacement option for a lost, worn, or damaged Axiom Pro 16 suncover.
Compatibility and fit
This suncover is sized for the Axiom Pro 16 display family. It is not a universal electronics cover, so the best fit comes from matching it to the Axiom Pro 16 model rather than choosing by screen size alone.
Before ordering, confirm that the display at the helm is an Axiom Pro 16 and not an Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom 2 Pro, or another Raymarine display size. Those units use different covers and may not share the same fit.
Use on board
At an open helm, a cover like this helps keep the screen area cleaner between trips and reduces direct exposure when the display is off. It is a practical accessory for fishing boats, cruising boats, and tenders with fixed Raymarine electronics left in place at the dash.
For boats stored outside or tied up in a marina, remove the cover before operating the display, then reinstall it once the screen is clean and dry. A quick rinse and wipe after saltwater exposure helps keep the silicone surface ready for regular use.
