Overview

The Perko 0528DPWCHR is a chrome-plated bronze water deck fill for 1-1/2" pipe or hose installations on boats. It gives the freshwater fill point a clean deck-level finish while keeping the cap clearly marked for water, which helps avoid confusion at the dock when filling tanks.

The 3-5/8" flange suits many deck and side-deck mounting locations where a metal fill is preferred over plastic. The cap uses a slot between the key holes and is supplied with an O-ring, retaining cable, and deck fill key, giving the installer the main pieces needed for a proper fit.

Installation and fit

This deck fill is intended for a freshwater tank fill line, not for fuel, waste, or vent service. Before installation, confirm that the existing hose or pipe size is 1-1/2" and that the mounting surface has enough room for the 3-5/8" flange and screw pattern.

For a clean installation, the deck surface should be flat enough for the flange to sit evenly, with marine sealant used under the flange according to the boatbuilder or installer’s practice. Since #8 screws are not included, the fastener length and material should be matched to the deck thickness and backing structure.
