It is made as a corner guard to keep shrink wrap and strapping from being cut on sharp edges. The product is set into four pieces, allowing it to be facilely behindhand for easy set-up and connection. Its verge is scotch; the strapping process causes form dents on vinyl upholstery on boats, and the Strap Protector keeps the strap from cutting down into the material to prevent it from forming permanent creases. Strapping keeps protected from pushing on vinyl-marine upholstery, which could cause permanent depressions.
