Overview
The Raymarine E70637-00-NAG is a 9-inch Axiom+ 9RV multifunction display with built-in RealVision 3D sonar, Navionics North America Nav+ charts, and no included transducer. It gives a helm, cockpit, or flybridge station a chartplotter, fishfinder display, networking hub, and system control screen in one 12V DC unit.
The 9.0-inch high-density IPS touchscreen has 1280 x 720 resolution, 1,500-nit brightness, wide 85-degree viewing angles, and HydroTough hydrophobic glass that helps shed water, oil, and smudges. The housing is rated IPX6 and IPX7, so it is suitable for exposed marine mounting locations where spray, rain, and washdowns are part of normal use.
This RV version supports High CHIRP, DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3D through a 25-pin RealVision connector when paired with a compatible transducer. It also connects into broader Raymarine systems through RayNet Ethernet and NMEA 2000, with support for radar, AIS, Evolution autopilot control, compatible FLIR thermal cameras, IP cameras, digital switching, and marine audio controls.
Key features
- 9-inch Axiom+ 9RV multifunction display with RealVision 3D sonar capability and Navionics North America Nav+ chart card included.
- No transducer is included, giving installers the flexibility to match the display with a compatible RealVision or supported external sonar setup.
- 1280 x 720 high-density IPS touchscreen with 1,500-nit brightness for readable charts, sonar, radar, and camera views in changing light.
- HydroTough hydrophobic glass helps the touchscreen stay usable when the display is wet or marked by fingerprints and spray.
- IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof rating for exposed helm, center console, cockpit, or flybridge installations.
- 12V DC power input with an 8V to 16V DC operating range and 11.98W consumption at full brightness.
- Built-in 10 Hz GNSS receiver with support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou, with Beidou support requiring a software update.
- RayNet Ethernet and NMEA 2000 connectivity allow integration with compatible Raymarine displays, radar, sonar modules, AIS, instruments, autopilot, cameras, and digital switching systems.
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB microAB, one microSD card slot, and 16 GB solid-state internal memory support everyday navigation, data, and app use.
- Surface, flush, and trunnion mounting options help the display fit both new installations and helm refits.
Installation and setup
The display can be mounted on the supplied trunnion bracket or installed as a surface or flush mount using the included gasket and hardware. Its 9.65 x 6.22 x 3.0 inch dimensions exclude the trunnion and cables, so the mounting area should allow room behind the dash for cable bends, the power and NMEA 2000 lead, the RayNet connection, and any transducer cable.
Because this package does not include a transducer, sonar performance depends on the transducer or external sonar module selected for the boat. For fishing boats, center consoles, and cruising boats that already have Raymarine networking, that makes this unit practical as either a main display or an added station tied into the existing electronics system.
Electrical and system integration
The unit runs from a 12V DC boat electrical system and connects to NMEA 2000 through its DeviceNet port. A DeviceNet to SeaTalkng adaptor cable is included, which helps tie the display into a Raymarine SeaTalkng backbone when the rest of the network is set up for it.
RayNet Ethernet expands the display beyond standalone chartplotting. It can network with compatible Raymarine radar, external sonar modules, additional Axiom displays, IP cameras, and FLIR thermal cameras. NMEA 2000 support also allows integration with compatible AIS, instruments, audio controls, and digital switching systems where the rest of the installation supports those functions.
Use cases on board
This model is a strong fit for small to mid-size fishing boats, coastal cruisers, and helm refits where a 9-inch screen gives enough space for split views without taking over the dash. The included North America Navionics chart card is useful for boats operating in North American waters, while the RV sonar capability suits owners who want to add bottom, side, down, and 3D sonar views with the right transducer.
At the helm, it can handle day-to-day navigation, fishing detail, radar overlay, camera viewing, and autopilot control from one familiar LightHouse interface. On boats with more than one station, it can also become part of a larger Raymarine network instead of acting as a stand-alone screen.
Maintenance and care
For routine care, rinse salt and grime from the display area with fresh water before wiping the screen. A soft cloth is the right choice for the touchscreen, especially around the hydrophobic glass coating, and harsh cleaners or abrasive pads should stay away from the display surface.
When the boat is stored or the display is not in use, the supplied suncover helps protect the screen from direct sun exposure and dockside dust. Cable connections should be checked during seasonal service, especially on open helms where vibration, spray, and temperature changes are common.
