Because of the precise tension supplied by the Détente, rod lengths fluctuate when the two engines tilt independently. It is feasible to lean each engine up or down while maintaining simultaneous steering control of both machines. You may adjust the pressure between 18 and 20 pounds per square inch with the Self-Adjusting Rod. You can tune the tension if necessary to achieve the best results.
