Oil Filter (REC16510-05240) has multi-pass filtering effectiveness of 98 percent at 25-30 microns, providing exceptional filtering capabilities. Made with high-quality materials for long-lasting durability and performance. To help assure a clean supply of oil to engine components, it has a cellulose media that captures particles 1/3 the width of human hair. After the oil achieves working temperatures (as long as the standard engine oil running pressure is not greater than 51psi), it has a burst-strength five times larger than most engine oil operating pressures, resulting in increased durability. Pressure spikes up to 8 times the typical operating pressure are protected by a thick thread plate.
