Description  

HOSE CLAMP - 982663 secures a hose over a fitting and acts as a seal to keep liquids from leaking out. It also helps improve the stability of the hose connection. The clamp houses a helical-threaded screw, also known as a worm gear. The screw acts as a worm drive, bringing the band's threads together as you turn it. After that, the band tightens around the hose or tube. Due to its immense clamping force, it is a heavy-duty jubilee clip that comes in stainless steel and is excellent for small spaces.

It also helps in the prevention of moving fluid from escaping from a setup. It is accomplished by maintaining constant pressure throughout and eliminating holes that would otherwise allow internal fluids to escape, resulting in a hazardous leak.
