Description  

STUD - 982974 has nuts at each end that combine to form a bolt and are used to join heavy components together. It provides an adjustable member for machines and constructions, among many other things. As a result, studs don't rotate as much as bolts do when they are being tightened, they enable the measurement of far more precise torque levels. The studs only extend in one axis during nut tightening resulting in considerably more uniform and accurate clamping forces.
