A Needle Roller Bushing is the bearing for the Volvo Penta marine engines. A cylindrical roller with small diameters' purpose is to prevent friction between moving surfaces at low rotational speeds. It is done with the rolling element, which reduces friction when rotating in the shaft. There's a line contact when the rolling element moves within the bearing. These bearings have a small axial section dimension, good rigidity, and capacity to carry high radial loads, which are suitable for limited radial installation when positioned. Needle roller bearing carries pure radial load only but can't prevent axial displacement between the shaft and bearing housing. The angle error for the inner axle and outer axle is not allowed.
