Overview
The TACO Marine F19-0006-2 is a stationary rod hanger for organizing rod butts, gaffs, or brush handles on a boat or in a dockside storage area. It measures 1 inch wide by 2-3/8 inches long and has a polished stainless and white finish, giving it a clean look for cockpit, cabin, console, or storage installations.
The hanger uses polished Type 316L stainless steel with Delrin inserts, so it suits exposed fishing areas where salt, spray, and regular washdowns are part of normal use. It can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or overhead, which makes it useful for tight spaces under gunwales, inside lockers, along bulkheads, or in a tackle station.
Key features
- Stationary hanger format for storing rod butts, gaffs, or brush handles without adding a full rack system.
- Polished Type 316L stainless steel construction for use in saltwater and freshwater fishing environments.
- Delrin inserts help support the stored gear without a bare-metal contact point.
- Concealed installation screws leave the mounting area with a clean finished appearance.
- Mounts horizontally, vertically, or overhead to match the available space on board.
- Accepts rod butts up to 1-1/2 inches in diameter.
- Compact 1 inch by 2-3/8 inches footprint helps it fit in lockers, under gunwales, and other narrow storage locations.
Installation and fit
This hanger is a good match for boats that need secure storage without taking up deck or cockpit space. Before drilling, check that the mounting surface has enough backing for the fasteners and that the stored rod, gaff, or handle has enough clearance to slide in and out without hitting trim, cushions, hatches, or wiring behind the panel.
Because the screws are concealed after installation, take time to mark the mounting position carefully and dry-fit the hanger with the gear it will hold. The small footprint makes it practical for center consoles, bay boats, pontoons, sportfishing boats, and utility storage areas where loose gear needs to stay controlled underway.
Use on board
Use it as an individual rod-butt hanger or pair it with a compatible tip holder or storage layout to keep fishing gear off the sole and away from traffic areas. The stationary design is especially useful in places where the rod position does not need to rotate, such as under a gunwale, along a vertical bulkhead, or inside a dedicated rod locker.
