Overview
The Raymarine E70369-03 is a 12-inch Axiom 12 RV chartplotter and multifunction display bundle with built-in RealVision 3D sonar and an RV-100 transom mount transducer. It gives helm stations and fishing cockpits a large touchscreen navigation display, fishfinder capability, and network expansion in one package, with a WXGA 1280 x 800 display and 600 W sonar built into the unit.
The Axiom 12 RV runs on Raymarine LightHouse software with quad-core processing, so chart work, sonar views, waypoint handling, and connected system pages feel natural at the helm. The display supports RayNet Ethernet, NMEA 2000 through DeviceNet on the power cable, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, making it suitable as the main screen on a center console, pilothouse, cruiser, or fishing boat that may later add radar, instruments, cameras, audio control, or autopilot integration.
The included RV-100 transducer is built for transom mounting on outboard-powered motor boats and combines RealVision 3D, CHIRP DownVision, CHIRP SideVision, and high-frequency CHIRP fish targeting in one housing. It uses a 25-pin RealVision connection and an 8 m cable, with AHRS stabilization to help keep sonar imagery usable when the boat is moving through chop, swell, or tight maneuvers.
Key features
- 12-inch all-glass touchscreen with WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and 1200-nit illumination for clear viewing at an exposed helm.
- Built-in RealVision 3D and 600 W sonar support for CHIRP conical sonar, DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3D views.
- RV-100 transom mount transducer included, with an 8 m cable, 25-pin connection, built-in AHRS stabilization, and water temperature sensing.
- Internal GNSS receiver supports GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou, with SBAS support for WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN, and QZSS.
- RayNet Ethernet and NMEA 2000 connectivity allow expansion with compatible Raymarine displays, radar, instruments, autopilots, cameras, and engine data.
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in for app connection, mobile viewing, and supported chart or route workflows.
- IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings on the display help it handle spray, rain, and normal washdown exposure when installed correctly.
- 12 V dc system operation with an 8 V dc to 16 V dc operating range and a 7 A fuse rating.
Installation and setup
The display can be trunnion mounted for a raised helm installation or panel mounted when a cleaner dash layout is preferred. The surface or flush mounted depth including cables is 178 mm, so the cutout area and cable exit space should be checked before committing to a console or electronics box location.
The RV-100 is intended for transom installation on outboard-powered motor boats. Its stainless steel bracket includes a kick-up function to reduce the chance of damage if the transducer strikes floating debris, stumps, or a shallow-water obstruction. Jack-plate and step-mount installations require optional brackets and should be matched to the hull style before installation.
Compatibility and system integration
This bundle suits boat owners who want one main display for navigation, sonar, and future electronics expansion rather than a stand-alone fishfinder only. It can work as a central MFD for coastal cruising, inshore fishing, offshore runs, and mixed-use family boats where chartplotting, sonar, and networked accessories all need to be visible from the helm.
The Axiom 12 RV supports Raymarine LightHouse Charts, Navionics, and C-MAP chart options. It also supports Raymarine accessories such as Quantum radar, compatible CHIRP sonar systems, FLIR thermal cameras, Evolution autopilot, marine instruments, IP cameras, and NMEA 2000 compatible audio systems, depending on the rest of the vessel network.
Electrical and environmental notes
The display is made for 12 V dc boat electrical systems and should be wired with the specified fuse protection. Its NMEA 2000 LEN value is 1, which helps when checking network power load on an existing backbone.
The display has an operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and a storage temperature range of -30°C to +70°C. Those ratings make it appropriate for exposed marine helm locations when installed with proper sealing, strain relief, and cable routing.
