Overview
The Hella Marine 358114361 is a single replacement key for keyed battery master and battery disconnect switches that use the red removable key style. It is meant for replacing a lost or damaged key, or keeping a spare where you can reach it quickly when you need to isolate power on board.
This is the key only, not a complete switch. Match it to your existing switch by confirming your battery master switch uses a removable red key with the same keyway shape.
Key features
- Single replacement key for keyed battery master and battery disconnect switches
- Red plastic key style for quick visual identification at the switch
- Restores switch operation when the original key is missing or damaged
- Handy spare to keep on board for maintenance lockout, storage, or emergency access
- Small part that stores easily in a spares kit or nav station drawer
What’s included
- 1 replacement key (red)
Compatibility and fit
This key fits keyed battery master and battery disconnect switches that accept the red removable key profile. Before ordering, compare the key shape and keyway to your current key or to the switch itself. If your battery switch uses a knob, lever, or a different key style, this will not be the right replacement.
Installation and use
There is no wiring or mounting involved. Insert the key fully, then turn to operate the battery master switch as normal. Many boat owners keep a spare key in a separate location from the helm keys so the switch can still be operated during service work or after a lost set of keys.
On-board use cases
A spare key is useful for boats that get left on a mooring, stored at a dock, or trailered between trips, where the battery master switch is used regularly to isolate the electrical system. It is also a good match for owners who want a backup key at home and one onboard, without moving the primary key back and forth.
Storage and care
Keep the spare key clean so grit does not get carried into the switch. Storing it in a small bag or parts bin helps prevent it from getting lost in a tool bag or console.
