Overview
The Garmin 010-02882-01LSP is a 12.1-inch touchscreen chartplotter and fishfinder bundle that pairs an ECHOMAP Ultra 2 126sv display with LiveScope Plus live-scanning sonar and a GT56UHD-TM transducer.
The WXGA IPS screen runs 1280 x 800 resolution and the unit is rated IPX7 for spray and rain. Power input is 9 to 18 Vdc, with typical current draw of 2.5 A at 12 Vdc (5.0 A max at 12 Vdc), so it fits standard 12V boats without added regulators.
Built-in Garmin Navionics+ U.S. Inland and Coastal mapping is included, and two microSD slots are available for additional charts and data. You can store up to 5,000 waypoints, 50 saved tracks, and 100 routes.
Key features
- 12.1-inch WXGA IPS touchscreen with keyed assist for quick zooming and shortcut access
- IPX7 water rating and a sunlight-readable display for open-console and cockpit installs
- Bail or flush mounting support, with overall size 13.4 x 9.0 x 3.9 inches and weight of 5.5 lb
- 9 to 18 Vdc input, typical current draw 2.5 A at 12 Vdc (5.0 A max at 12 Vdc)
- Built-in 600 W sonar plus ClearVü and SideVü scanning sonar and single-channel CHIRP traditional sonar
- GT56UHD-TM transducer included for traditional CHIRP and Ultra High-Definition scanning sonar
- LiveScope Plus live-scanning sonar included for real-time views of fish and structure
- Networking and integration: NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Wi-Fi, ANT+, and two Garmin Marine Network ports
- Multi-band, multi-constellation GPS with 10 Hz updates for tighter position tracking
Compatibility and fit
This unit is built around 12V power systems. If your boat is 24V, plan on a regulated step-down supply to stay within the 9 to 18 Vdc input range. For mounting, you can keep it on the included bail mount at the helm or flush-mount it into a dash for a cleaner face.
For networked boats, NMEA 2000 support helps bring compatible engine data, heading sensors, AIS, and other devices onto the screen. NMEA 0183 support is available for older instruments and radios that still rely on serial connections.
Sonar and on-water use
The included GT56UHD-TM handles traditional CHIRP (70/83/200 kHz) and scanning sonar, with ClearVü and SideVü frequencies up to 1200 kHz for sharper structure detail in the shallows. The built-in sonar output is 600 W, which covers most inshore and nearshore fishing scenarios when the transducer is mounted cleanly and the hull is running true.
LiveScope Plus adds a real-time view that helps when working targets around docks, points, bridge pilings, and bait schools. It can also be useful when hovering over structure, because the view updates even when the boat is not moving.
A good match for anglers who want charting and high-detail scanning sonar on the same screen, with LiveScope for situational awareness while casting or vertical jigging.

Maintenance and care
After saltwater use, rinse the display and connectors with fresh water and let everything dry before covering. Keep cable runs supported and away from sharp edges and high-heat zones so connectors stay tight and corrosion does not get a foothold over time.
