Overview
The Garmin 010-12357-00 is a kayak in-hull transducer mount that bonds a compatible Garmin transducer to the inside of the hull, keeping the exterior clean for launches, beaching, and shallow-water runs.
It uses a foam pad with adhesive and is intended to stay bonded under continuous water submersion once installed. Fit is intended for the Garmin HD-ID dual beam transducer (77/200 kHz) and the GT20-TM transducer (77/200 kHz with ClearVü).
In-hull sonar relies on a clear path through the hull, so it works best when the transducer sits on a solid section of hull with no air gaps. The transducer is sold separately.
Key features
- In-hull mounting keeps the transducer protected inside the kayak and avoids an external bracket that can snag or get scraped
- Fits Garmin HD-ID dual beam (77/200 kHz) and GT20-TM (77/200 kHz with ClearVü) transducers
- Foam pad with adhesive is meant to remain secure during continuous water submersion
- No tools required for installation when following the placement and bonding steps
- For use with compatible Garmin fishfinder and combo marine devices when paired with the appropriate transducer

Installation and setup
Plan the location before sticking the pad down. A flat area inside the hull that stays submerged and sits clear of molded ribs, scupper structures, and storage wells helps keep readings consistent while paddling.
Clean and dry the mounting area, then bond the transducer to the pad and press the assembly firmly into place. Route the transducer cable so it cannot chafe under gear, and keep it clear of pedal drives or moving seats if your kayak has them.
Compatibility and fit
This style of mount is intended for kayaks where the sonar signal can pass through the hull without crossing voids or trapped air. It is not suited to installations where the transducer shoots through foam cores or metal plates, since those materials can block or distort sonar.
Use on the water
This setup is a good match for kayak anglers who frequently launch off beaches, slide onto sandbars, or fish around rocks where an external transducer mount takes more abuse. It also keeps the transducer tucked away for dockside storage and transport.
