Description
Description
Overview
The Vimar Eikon is a flush-mounted RJ12 phone jack insert for modular communication points in the Eikon wiring range. It uses a 6-position 6-conductor RJ12 connection with screw terminals, takes one module in the system, and measures 22.30 mm wide, 49.00 mm high, and 43.10 mm deep.
This is a communication insert for protected interior spaces, not an exposed-weather fitting. The body is thermoplastic, halogen-free, and finished with a matt surface, with an IP20 rating and clamp mounting for installation inside a compatible Eikon support and plate setup.
On a boat, this kind of outlet makes sense where an RJ12 connection needs to sit flush with other cabin or console controls and stay visually consistent with the rest of the Eikon trim. Check the plug format and pin count on your handset or communication device before ordering, because this outlet is RJ12 6/6 rather than RJ11 6/4.
Key features
- RJ12 phone jack with 6-position 6-conductor 6/6 layout and screw-terminal rear connection
- One-module insert for Vimar Eikon modular domestic switching devices
- Flush-mounted design with clamp fastening
- Thermoplastic body that is halogen-free with a matt finish
- IP20 rating for dry interior installation areas
- No dust cover, hinged lid, or support ring
Variants
This outlet is offered in multiple color configurations within the same Eikon RJ12 6/6 format.
Across the listed versions, the stated difference is color. The connection format, screw-terminal wiring style, one-module footprint, and flush-mounted arrangement remain the same for the range described here.
- VM20321.N: Silver. This version uses Vimar's Next silver finish, which helps it sit neatly with silver-toned Eikon frames and cover plates.
- VM20321.B: White. This option keeps the same outlet format in a white finish for lighter interior panels and trim layouts.
- VM20321: Grey. This version keeps the same outlet format in grey for darker Eikon assemblies and understated panel styling.
Compatibility and fit
This insert is built for the Vimar Eikon modular system and occupies one module, so the main fit check is your existing Eikon support and cover plate arrangement. It is not a standalone bulkhead socket and it does not include a support ring.
The front connection is RJ12 6/6, and the rear side uses screw terminals. That makes it useful for refits where the cable is being terminated on site rather than plugged into a prewired pigtail.
Installation and onboard use
Because the outlet is rated IP20 and has no cover, it belongs in enclosed, dry parts of the boat such as a cabin panel, nav station, or protected console face. It is not the right choice for open deck locations, washdown areas, or places that see direct spray.
This is a sensible match for boats that already use Vimar Eikon devices and need an internal phone or low-voltage communication point in the same modular style. It also works well when appearance matters and the communication outlet needs to line up with nearby Eikon switches and sockets.

Original shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable, and the value of any included free items that are not returned may be deducted from the refund. Apollo Lighting does not charge a standard restocking fee on eligible returns. Returns that are incomplete, damaged, installed, used, altered, improperly packaged, or otherwise do not meet the eligibility requirements may be refused. Product warranty
Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
