Overview

The Raymarine E70364 is an Axiom 7 DV multifunction display with a 7-inch touchscreen, built-in DownVision sonar, and no transducer or chart card included. It gives smaller helm stations, center consoles, fishing boats, and sailboat nav pods a compact display for chartplotting, sonar viewing, radar integration, instrument data, cameras, and autopilot control when connected to compatible Raymarine systems.

The display uses Raymarine LightHouse software with a quad-core processor, an all-glass buttonless front, and swipe-to-power operation. The 7-inch LCD has 800 x 480 resolution, 24-bit color, and 1200-nit illumination, so it remains readable in changing cockpit light without taking up the space of a larger MFD.

This DV version has built-in 600 W digital sonar with DownVision and CHIRP conical sonar channels. It has a 9-pin DownVision transducer connection, RayNet Ethernet, NMEA 2000 connection through the power cable, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a MicroSDXC card slot, and IPX6/IPX7 water protection for exposed marine mounting locations.

Installation and setup

The Axiom 7 DV can be mounted on the supplied trunnion bracket or installed into a panel using the included gasket and mounting hardware. Its compact display size works well where dash space is limited, while the all-glass front gives the helm a clean look when flush mounted.

Power and NMEA 2000 are handled through the supplied combined cable, with a 1.5 m power lead and 0.5 m NMEA 2000 lead. For networked installations, the RayNet Ethernet port can link the display to compatible Raymarine displays, radar, sonar modules, IP cameras, and other Raymarine network equipment.

Compatibility and system integration

This unit is a good match for boat owners building or upgrading a Raymarine helm around a 7-inch display. It can function as a standalone chartplotter and fishfinder when paired with the right charts and transducer, or it can become part of a larger system with Quantum radar, CHIRP sonar modules, FLIR thermal cameras, Evolution autopilot, AIS through compatible receivers or transceivers, and NMEA 2000 audio devices.

Because this model is supplied without a transducer or chart card, the installer can match the rest of the package to the boat, fishing style, mounting location, and cruising area rather than paying for accessories that may not fit the job.
