Michigan Wheel Forward Thrust Washer For Vortex OMC/Merc/Mariner/Force/Honda (991204)

The Forward Thrust Washer is for select motor applications. This is compatible with Xhs II Hub Kit 201, 202, and 226. Its function is to make clearance between the gearcase and the propeller hub. Without it, the propeller would rub on the gearcase housing because the propeller slides forward on the propeller shaft while running in forwarding gear. Make sure that the propeller and driveshaft splines have plenty of areas to connect and cannot interfere with the gear case when under forwarding thrust. The forward thrust is immense.
