The Hella Marine Value Fit Sport Series 12 LED Flood Light Bar is an 8 in flood beam light bar for deck and spreader lighting where you want a wide pool of light, not a tight spot.

Variants

This light bar is offered in multiple configurations.

The difference between variants is the product color, while the electrical rating, output class, and overall form factor stay consistent.

• 357208001: Product color Black. A clean match for darker hardtops, T-tops, and arches where you want the light to blend into the structure.
• 357208011: Product color White. Works well on white gelcoat and painted aluminum where you want the fixture to visually disappear.

Compatibility and fit

Confirm you have a flat mounting surface plus enough depth behind the light for the wiring exit and for aiming without hitting rails, antennas, or canvas. For spreader mounting, check that the light can be aimed down onto the foredeck without shining into the cockpit or toward the helm.

Installation and setup

Mount the bracket to a solid surface and use backing washers or a backing plate where needed, especially on thinner fiberglass. Plan cable routing so the run stays protected from chafe and does not pinch at hinges or folding tops.

After mounting, set the tilt so the flood pattern lights the working area without creating glare. A small angle change makes a big difference with a flood beam.

Electrical and system integration

Wire it to a 10 to 30 VDC supply through an appropriately sized fuse or breaker placed close to the power source. For longer cable runs, use wire gauge that keeps voltage drop under control, and use sealed heat-shrink terminations in exposed areas.

It can be switched directly if your switch and wiring are sized for the load, or controlled through a relay if you want the helm switch to carry minimal current. Follow common marine wiring practices for strain relief, chafe protection, and corrosion control.

Use on board

This style of light makes sense for owners who need practical working light for docking, night deck checks, loading gear, or lighting up a cockpit and transom during fishing. The wide beam is also useful on sailboats when mounted on spreaders to light the foredeck and mast base.

Maintenance and care

Rinse salt and grime off the housing and bracket periodically and re-check mounting fasteners as part of routine deck hardware inspection. If the light is mounted in an exposed spot, keep wiring supported and sealed so connectors are not sitting in standing water.
