The Vimar Protected & Watertight Series is an IP55 cover plate range for three 8000 standard modules. It closes and protects a 3-module electrical point where moisture and dust are part of the environment. When mounted on a smooth waterproof wall without grooves, the assembled cover reaches IP55 protection, and with the cover open the rating is IPX2.

This range works well on boats that already use Vimar 8000 modules and need a protected finish in places such as cockpits, utility compartments, and covered exterior stations. The cover is made of plastic with full insulating material, so it fits installations where touch-safe trim and a clean finished look both matter.

Across both variants, the fit stays the same: each version is for three Vimar 8000 standard modules and uses the same installation conditions for IP55 protection. The confirmed difference between them is the color finish.

• VM13731.Q: Grey. This version uses a RAL 7035 grey finish and suits installations where the surrounding trim is already grey or other light neutral tones are in use.
• VM13731.Q.A: Ivory. This version uses a RAL 9001 ivory finish and is a closer visual match for panels and interiors that use warmer light tones.
