Overview

The Vimar Eikon 20507 mounting frame is a 2-module support for surface mounting EnOcean, Bluetooth, and ZigBee RF controls behind Eikon or Plana cover plates. This thermoplastic frame measures 113.1 x 73.1 x 8.9 mm, mounts from the front, can be oriented horizontally or vertically, and is suitable for a 60 mm round junction box.

On board, it fits neatly into refit work where wireless switching is being added without breaking the look of an existing Vimar interior. The corner slots allow panel fixing, the central slots help level the frame during installation, and the side hooking teeth let multiple frames line up in series when more than one control point is being grouped together.

Variants

This product is offered in two finish options.

Across both variants, the frame format stays the same: 2-module RF mounting frame, same Eikon and Plana cover plate compatibility, same horizontal or vertical mounting direction, and the same fixing layout. The visible change between variants is the frame color.

• VM20507.B: Color White. This version keeps the visible trim light around the installed control, which is useful when the surrounding plate and panel finish are also light.
• VM20507: Color Grey. This version keeps the visible trim in grey, which suits installations already using grey Vimar details.

Compatibility and fit

This frame is used with compatible Vimar RF controls in the EnOcean, Bluetooth, and ZigBee range, then completed with Eikon or Plana 2-module or 2-central-module cover plates. It does not include a built-in installation box, and it is not intended for wall duct, subfloor duct box, or 35 mm DIN rail mounting.

Installation and setup

The frame mounts with the insert from the front side, so it is straightforward to align during assembly. The corner slots give clear fixing points, while the central slots help keep the frame level on the mounting surface. When several controls are installed together, the hooking teeth make it easier to keep adjacent frames aligned.

Use on board

This frame suits interior control points such as cabin entrances, saloon lighting positions, berth areas, and similar spaces where wireless switching is being added and the vessel already uses Vimar trim. It is a sensible match for boats where the finish around the switch matters as much as the control function itself.
