Overview
The Victron Energy GX Touch Flush is a flush-mount touchscreen display accessory for Cerbo GX installations, giving a local control point for a Victron power system without turning the helm, cabin panel, or electrical cabinet into a tangle of extra wiring. It is available in 5 inch and 7 inch versions, with the 5 inch GX Touch 50 Flush using an 800 x 480 display and the 7 inch GX Touch 70 Flush using a 1024 x 600 display.
This display is not a stand-alone battery monitor or GPS unit. It works as the front-end screen for a Cerbo GX, letting the operator view system status and make settings changes from a fixed onboard location. On a boat, that makes sense at a navigation station, DC panel, engine room access panel, or protected cockpit location where quick power system checks matter.
The flush version sits into the mounting surface for a cleaner panel layout and connects to the Cerbo GX with a single 2 m cable. When installed with the rubber gasket, the display is rated IP65, which is useful on boats where spray, damp hands, and routine washdowns are part of normal use.
Key features
- Flush-mount touchscreen interface for Victron Cerbo GX systems, suited to fixed helm, cabin, and electrical panel installations.
- Available in 5 inch and 7 inch screen sizes, so the panel opening and viewing area can match the space available on board.
- Single-cable connection to the Cerbo GX keeps the display wiring simple and avoids running multiple control cables to the dashboard.
- IP65 rating when installed with the rubber gasket, giving the display protection against water exposure in typical marine mounting locations.
- Local access to Victron system information such as battery state of charge, power consumption, PV harvest, generator status, shore power status, tank levels, and temperature readings when those devices are connected through the Cerbo GX.
- Flush installation can be mounted into the panel surface or embossed for a totally flush look, depending on the layout and finish of the dashboard.
Variants
The GX Touch Flush range is offered in two screen sizes for Cerbo GX installations. Both versions serve the same role as a local touchscreen display, while the screen size, resolution, and outside dimensions change between variants.
The 5 inch version fits tighter panels and smaller control areas, while the 7 inch version gives a larger viewing area for dashboards, nav stations, or electrical panels with more available space.
- BPP900455150: Screen size 5 Inch. This GX Touch 50 Flush version uses an 800 x 480 display and has outside dimensions of 94 x 136 x 12 mm, making it the more compact option for crowded panels.
- BPP900455170: Screen size 7 Inch. This GX Touch 70 Flush version uses a 1024 x 600 display and has outside dimensions of 120 x 184 x 13 mm, giving more screen area when the mounting location has the room for it.
Installation and setup
Mounting is handled at the panel surface, with the display connected back to the Cerbo GX through the supplied display cable path. The flush format is especially useful where a raised screen would be more exposed to bumps, lines, bags, or crew movement around the helm or cabin.
Because the GX Touch Flush depends on a Cerbo GX, the installation should be planned around the Cerbo GX location, the cable route, and the final viewing angle. A dry, accessible service path behind the panel will make future inspection and removal much easier.
Compatibility and onboard use
This display belongs in a Victron GX system built around the Cerbo GX. It is a good match for boats using Victron chargers, inverters, battery monitors, solar charge controllers, tank sensors, or generator controls where the crew wants a fixed screen instead of relying only on an app or remote portal.
For cruising boats, fishing boats, and off-grid marine electrical systems, the practical value is quick visibility. The display gives the operator a dedicated place to check the power system before leaving the dock, while charging from solar or shore power, or when managing loads at anchor.
