Overview
The Lopolight Masthead/360-Degree Light is an all-round (360-degree) white navigation light rated for 2 nautical miles (2 NM). It runs on 10-32 VDC (12V or 24V systems) and draws 3 W (about 225 mA at 12 V and 156 mA at 24 V).
This version uses an FB (flat base) mounting system for horizontal installation. The housing measures Ø92.5 mm x 36 mm and is sealed to IP68, which suits exposed mast, arch, or pole locations that see spray and washdowns.
Key features
- 2 NM all-round (360-degree) white navigation light for masthead or anchor-light use where an all-round white is required
- 10-32 VDC input with a 3 W draw for straightforward use on 12V or 24V boats
- IP68 sealing for wet mounting locations and regular deck washdowns
- FB (flat base) POM mounting system with centered cable routing for clean pole or deck installations
- Pre-cabled with a 0.75 m shielded marine-grade lead; minimum feed wire gauge 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22)
- Horizontal mounting with a low-profile footprint (Ø92.5 mm x 36 mm) and a listed weight of about 0.46 kg
- Approved to COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, and LR
Variants
This light is offered in multiple configurations that change the housing color.
Electrical ratings, IP68 sealing, dimensions, and approvals stay the same across the variants; the difference is the exterior finish.
- 201-020-FB-B: Housing color Black. A darker finish pairs naturally with black anodized spars, radar arches, and many antenna mounts.
- 201-020-FB: Housing color Silver. A silver finish matches bare aluminum masts, polished metalwork, and classic deck hardware.
Installation and setup
The unit mounts horizontally on the FB base, with wiring routed through the center of the base for a tidy run into a pole, hardtop, or deck. Plan the cable path before bedding the base so the lead stays protected and does not chafe on sharp edges.
Mounting can be done from the top using three clearance holes (3x Ø4.4 mm), or from underneath using three threaded holes (3x M4 x 0.7, 6 mm deep). This makes it easier to keep a clean top surface when you have access below the mounting panel.
Electrical and system integration
Connect to a fused 10-32 VDC lighting circuit and follow your vessel’s wiring practices for navigation lights. Use at least 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22) feed wiring and keep connections dry and strain-relieved in the mast base, arch, or overhead where the cable transitions into the boat.
The low power draw is helpful on boats that spend long nights at anchor or run with lights on for extended evening transits, without adding much load to the house bank.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The housing is anodized aluminum with a PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel fasteners. Combined with the IP68 seal, this construction suits exposed saltwater installations where the light sees spray, vibration, and routine cleaning.
What’s included
- Navigation light pre-cabled with a 0.75 m shielded marine-grade cable
- Installation guide
Use cases on board
This is a good match for small powerboats and sailboats that need an all-round white light on a mast, radar arch, or antenna pole, and want a low-profile base that keeps wiring centered and out of sight.
