Overview
The Garmin 020-00200-24 is a boat kit for Panoptix LiveScope that helps move a portable or ice-fishing setup into an open-water installation on your boat.
It combines LiveScope shaft and barrel mounts with the wiring pieces used at the black box: a GLS 10 power cable and a Garmin Marine Network cable. The network lead in the kit is 2 m, and the GLS 10 power connection supports 10 to 32 Vdc with a 7.5 A fast-acting fuse in-line.
This is an accessory kit only. It does not include the GLS 10 sonar module, a LiveScope transducer, or a chartplotter display.
Key features
- LiveScope shaft and barrel mounts for common trolling-motor mounting styles
- GLS 10 power cable for hardwiring to boat power from 10 to 32 Vdc, with 7.5 A fast-acting fuse in the lead
- 2 m Garmin Marine Network cable for linking the GLS 10 to a Garmin Marine Network run
- Garmin Marine Network coupler for joining compatible small-connector network cables when extra reach is needed
- Compatibility: GLS 10 Sonar Module
Compatibility and system integration
This kit is meant for a complete LiveScope system that includes a GLS 10 sonar module, a LiveScope transducer, and a compatible Garmin chartplotter connected over Garmin Marine Network. Since Garmin networking uses different connector styles on some equipment, confirm what your chartplotter and existing network cabling use before routing cable, as an adapter cable between small-connector and RJ-45 style network ports may be required.
Installation and setup
Mount the shaft or barrel hardware where the transducer can rotate freely and where the trolling motor can still stow without contact. Support the cabling so it cannot chafe in the bow panel or rigging tube, and leave slack for steering and deploy cycles.
Power the GLS 10 through the included cable on a 12 V or 24 V system that stays within the module's 10 to 32 Vdc input range. Keep the inline fuse accessible for troubleshooting.
Use cases on board
It is a practical add-on for anglers who run a LiveScope ice bundle in winter and want the same sonar on a bow-mounted trolling motor once the boat is back in the water. It also fits re-rigs where the original install relied on temporary mounts and loose cabling.
What's included
- LiveScope shaft/barrel mounts
- GLS 10 power cable
- 2 m Garmin Marine Network cable
- Garmin Marine Network coupler
