Overview
The Raymarine E70634-00-NAG is an Axiom+ 7 multifunction chartplotter with a 7 inch IPS touchscreen, Navionics+ North America chart card, built-in GNSS, and network expansion for a larger Raymarine helm system. It is a chartplotter-only display with no built-in sonar connector, but it can work with external sonar modules over RayNet when the boat needs fishfinding or depth data added later.
The display runs on 12 V DC systems with an 8 V to 16 V DC operating range and draws 7.34 W at full brightness for the chartplotter-only version. The 1024 x 600 WSVGA screen is rated at 1,500 nits, uses an oleophobic touch surface, and has IPX6 and IPX7 water ingress protection for exposed helm stations, center consoles, flybridges, and sailboat cockpits.
Navigation data is handled through LightHouse OS with support for LightHouse, Navionics, and C-MAP charts. The internal 10 Hz GNSS receiver supports GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou, with SBAS support for systems such as WAAS, which helps keep position updates smooth while running at speed or working through tight channels.
Key features
- 7 inch IPS multitouch display with 1024 x 600 WSVGA resolution and 1,500 nit illumination for helm visibility in daylight.
- IPX6 and IPX7 water ingress protection for marine mounting locations exposed to spray, rain, and washdowns.
- 12 V DC power input with an 8 V to 16 V DC operating range and 7.34 W maximum power consumption for the chartplotter-only model.
- Built-in 10 Hz GNSS receiver with GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and SBAS support for frequent position updates.
- RayNet Ethernet connection for networking with compatible Raymarine displays, radar, sonar modules, cameras, and other system components.
- NMEA 2000 connection through the DeviceNet lead for integration with compatible AIS, instruments, autopilot, audio, and engine data systems.
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 support for wireless functions and compatible app or accessory use.
- 16 GB solid-state internal storage plus one MicroSDXC card slot for chart media and data handling.
- Supports surface, flush, and trunnion mounting, so it can be fitted into a new dash layout or added to an existing helm.
Installation and setup
This unit suits boats that need a compact helm display with enough screen detail for chartplotting, AIS overlays, radar pages, instrument data, and camera views. The 7.92 x 5.24 x 3.0 inch body fits many smaller consoles and dash panels where a larger display would crowd switches, radios, or engine controls.
The included trunnion hardware is useful for bracket mounting on an open console or at a secondary station, while the panel gasket and studs support a cleaner surface or flush-mount installation. Allow room behind the dash for the power, NMEA 2000, RayNet, and card access connections before cutting or drilling.
Electrical and system integration
The display is built for 12 V DC boats rather than direct 24 V DC connection. It should be powered from a protected marine circuit within the stated voltage range, with cable routing that avoids sharp bends, standing water, and high-interference runs near ignition or heavy DC loads.
For networked installations, RayNet gives the display a path to compatible Raymarine radar, sonar modules, IP cameras, and additional Axiom displays. NMEA 2000 support lets the unit share data with compatible onboard electronics, including AIS receivers, Evolution autopilots, instruments, audio systems, and selected digital switching systems.
Navigation and onboard use
This chartplotter is a strong match for center consoles, fishing boats, cruisers, and sailboats that need a responsive 7 inch display for navigation without paying for built-in sonar hardware that may not be used. It also fits as a secondary display in a larger helm where radar, AIS, route planning, or engine data need a dedicated screen.
The bright IPS screen, wide viewing angles, and touch surface that resists water, oil, and smudges make it easier to use while standing, seated, or moving around the helm. For North America boaters, the included Navionics+ chart card reduces setup work and gets the display ready for practical route planning and coastal navigation.
