Overview

The Vimar 00937 LED signalling unit is a low-voltage LED insert for compatible axial switches, with 12-24 V AC/DC operation and 0.1 W power draw.

It adds a visible light point to the switch, which helps when you need to find a control in low light or assign a clear visual meaning to a circuit. On board, that is useful on interior switch panels where Vimar components are already installed and a simple indicator makes the panel easier to read.

Variants

This range is offered in five light-color configurations.

The light color changes between variants. The operating range stays at 12-24 V AC/DC and power draw stays at 0.1 W across the versions listed here.

• VM00937.W: White light. This gives a neutral indicator that works well for general switch illumination and everyday panel visibility.
• VM00937.R: Red light. This is often used where the indicator needs to stand out quickly or mark a specific function on a control panel.
• VM00937.B: Light blue light. This gives a cooler color cue where a panel uses color separation between different circuits or control points.
• VM00937.G: Green light. This works well where the panel layout uses green to mark normal operation or an active function.
• VM00937.A: Amber light. This gives a warmer indicator tone and can help separate one circuit group from others on the same panel.

Compatibility and fit

This is a signalling insert, not a complete switch or a standalone lamp. It is meant for compatible Vimar axial switch assemblies, so the switch body and support hardware need to match this LED unit before ordering. If you are replacing an existing insert on a boat, confirm both the light color and the 12-24 V circuit range.

Use on board

This unit makes the most sense for boats that already use Vimar switchgear in cabin panels, companionway controls, heads, or utility spaces. It is a practical way to add a visible switch indicator without adding meaningful load to a 12 V or 24 V house system.
