Overview

The Garmin 010-11254-02 is a replacement soft strap with electrodes for Garmin premium heart rate monitor transmitter modules. It is water resistant to 30 meters and comes in black.

This is the strap only. Move your existing transmitter onto the new strap when your old one is stretched out, uncomfortable, or no longer making consistent skin contact.

On a boat, it is a practical spare if you track effort on deck, at the helm, or during dockside workouts and want heart rate data available on your compatible Garmin device.

Installation and setup

Attach your existing Garmin heart rate transmitter to the strap, then position the strap around your chest so the electrodes sit flat against skin. For best readings, keep the contact area clean and lightly dampen the electrodes before use, especially in dry or cold conditions.

Care and saltwater use

After saltwater exposure, rinse the strap in fresh water and let it air-dry before stowing. Avoid harsh cleaners and high heat, since they can shorten the life of the elastic and the electrode surfaces.
