Overview
The Lumishore 010-04456-00 is a 2500 mm cut-and-seal CRGBW LED strip light that can be trimmed to length for interior and accent lighting on board. It uses 180 LEDs per meter, supports RGB with tunable white from 2700K to 6500K, and the strip is rated IP68 once the cut end is sealed.
Connectors are fitted at both ends, and a sealing kit is used after cutting at the marked cut points (spaced every 100 mm). That makes it practical for runs under coamings, inside lockers, beneath cockpit seating, along toe-kicks, or anywhere you need a clean light line that matches the exact length on your boat.
Key features
- 2500 mm strip length with cut points spaced at 100 mm intervals for fitting to your exact run
- CRGBW output with tunable white from 2700K to 6500K for warm cabin light or cooler task lighting, plus color when you want it
- 180 LEDs per meter for an even light line without obvious hot spots at typical mounting distances
- IP68-rated strip after sealing, with a cut-end sealing kit intended to keep the trimmed end watertight
- Controlled by a momentary switch, with support for upgrading to integration with a compatible MFD and or display when used with the correct driver and interface
- Dimmable through the required LUX strip light driver
- Adhesive backing with screw clips for mounting that stays put in heat, vibration, and humid spaces
- UV resistant and salt spray tested for use in cabins, cockpits, and other exposed interior edges
What’s included
- One (1) cut & seal LED strip light, 2500 mm
- Two (2) connectors, one (1) at both ends
- Sealing kit with one (1) tube of silicone adhesive and four (4) end caps
Installation and setup
Dry-fit the run first, then mount on a clean, dry surface so the adhesive can bite. The screw clips are worth using anywhere the strip might be bumped, warmed by sun, or asked to hang upside down. When trimming, cut only at the marked cut points, then seal the new end with the included kit before putting it into a wet or washdown-prone area.
Electrical and control notes
This strip is powered and dimmed through a strip light driver, which is also where most control options start. Plan a dry, serviceable spot for the driver and route the strip leads where they will not be pinched by hatches, seat bases, or moving hardware. If you are tying lighting into a helm system, confirm the driver and any interface hardware match the control method you want before finalizing wiring.
Use cases on board
This strip makes sense for owners who want one continuous run of light that can be cut to fit without leaving an exposed end. It also fits builds where you want both a normal white lighting option and color from the same strip, such as cockpit lounge areas, cabin toe-kicks, or accent lighting inside lockers and compartments.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt residue with fresh water when needed and avoid harsh solvents on the strip surface and adhesive areas. Periodically check that the strip is still firmly supported and that any cut ends remain properly sealed, especially in spaces that see heat cycling or frequent spray.
