Overview
The Vimar Mille series is a 2P+E 16 A axial outlet range for 250 V AC connections that use the Italian P17/11 standard. Both variants use axial cable entry, screw terminals, a straight insert direction, and a halogen-free thermoplastic body with IP20 protection.
On board, this outlet makes sense in cabins, service lockers, utility spaces, or on portable leads where the connection stays dry and protected. It is intended for Italian standard P17/11 plugs, so checking plug compatibility before ordering matters if the boat uses another shore or onboard outlet format.
Key features
- Italian standard P17/11 outlet with 2P+E configuration, rated 16 A at 250 V AC
- Axial cable entry with screw terminals for straightforward cable termination
- Straight insert direction for inline outlet layouts and portable lead assemblies
- Sicury protective shutter helps reduce accidental contact with live parts
- Halogen-free thermoplastic body
- IP20 protection for dry, protected interior areas rather than exposed spray locations
Variants
This outlet is offered in two colour configurations.
The electrical format stays the same across the range: 2P+E, 16 A, 250 V AC, Italian P17/11, axial cable entry, screw terminals, halogen-free thermoplastic construction, and IP20 protection. The visible change between variants is the body colour.
- VM01029: Black. This blends more easily with dark panels, extension leads, or black trim.
- VM01029.B: White. This sits more naturally with white liners, lockers, or light-coloured panels.
Compatibility and fit
This is a dedicated Italian standard outlet, not a multi-standard receptacle. It is intended for 250 V AC circuits and for installations that already use a P17/11 plug pattern with protective contact.
Installation and use on board
The axial body is useful where the cable needs to leave the rear of the outlet in a straight line, which can simplify portable lead builds and tight installation runs. It suits refits and replacement work on boats that already use Italian standard accessories, especially in protected interior spaces rather than open deck or washdown areas.
