Installation and setup

This light should be mounted on an unobstructed smooth surface on the gunwale, deck, or superstructure, with the bi-color light placed as far forward as practical. The navigation light and the task light each require a 1 amp fused positive 12V circuit, and LED wiring needs correct polarity to operate properly.

The rear switch lets you turn the task light on after the pole is installed. That makes it useful when you need a quick work light at the bow for tying off, sorting tackle, checking lines, or loading gear before daylight.

Compatibility and fit

This NV6LC2 version uses Attwood's locking collar connection, so base compatibility matters before ordering. It is intended for LightArmor plug-in bases, not a generic push-in base without the matching collar setup.

For boats already rigged with the correct 3-pin LightArmor base, installation is straightforward and the threaded collar gives the pole a more secure hold when the boat is running in chop or stored on a trailer.
