Installation and setup

Plan the mounting location so the front face sits where you can see and reach it easily while seated or standing at the helm. Confirm there is clearance behind the panel for the back of the display and for cable routing with a smooth bend, and make sure you can access the rear side to secure the hardware.

Use the template to mark the cutout, protect the surrounding finish before cutting, and dry-fit the unit before final tightening. On cored panels, sealing any exposed core around the cut edge helps prevent moisture intrusion over time.

Compatibility and fit

This kit is specific to the STRIKER Plus 4 and STRIKER Plus 4cv form factor and is meant for installations where you want the display recessed into the panel rather than sitting on a bracket. If your console surface is not flat or you cannot cut and access the backside of the panel, a bracket mount setup may be a better match for your layout.
